As a key-worker industry we design, manufacture, engineer and install surface water, wastewater and drinking water solutions, from flood management products through to large scale sewage treatment tanks and filtration. We are the exclusive UK distributor for a number of leading European specialist manufacturers within the water industry and we work closely with our 100% shareholder ELIQUO WATER Group based in Germany, particularly to develop products to support Net Zero Carbon.

Our established team of 120 people are crucial in our quality and performance and we have a good track record of career progression. We are recruiting roles at all levels, including apprentices and kickstart placements, to support our advanced growth plans, most of which are based at our Head Office and factory at Indian Queens, North Cornwall. These roles would suit candidates already in Cornwall or someone wishing to move to one of the most sought-after places to live in the UK.

Materials Manager

Are you an experienced Materials Manager? Can you manage effective planning of work? Do you want to be part of a rapidly growing £25m company?

Do you want to deliver major projects for sustainable water treatment solutions, keeping our rivers and seas clean?

Reporting directly to the Head of Supply Chain, and assisting the manufacturing team, you will ensure our ERP system matches stock as well as problem solving and handling equipment.

About you:

Key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Effective planning of departmental resource to ensure on-time delivery
  • Creation of raw material locations and maintenance of agreed stock levels
  • Effective scheduling of goods inwards deliveries
  • Management of Stores Team
  • Reporting of goods inwards statistics
  • Collaboration with Production Scheduler and Workshop Manager
  • Maintenace of company procedures and documentation
  • Ensuring data integrity and maintaining Dynamics 365

Essential requirements to succeed in the role are:

  • Experience with maintaining data integrity in an ERP system within a warehousing environment
  • Dynamics 365 experience and recognised industry training would be advantageous
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Work in a safe and tidy manner
  • Be an excellent team player

Quantity Surveyor

Are you an experienced QS who can deliver for customers and optimise commercial outcomes? Can you manage project changes, cost analysis and the submission of applications and invoicing? Do you want to be part of a rapidly growing £25m company?

Do you want to deliver major projects for sustainable water treatment solutions, keeping our rivers and seas clean?

Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, and working alongside our project managers, you will be part of a team to deliver projects on time, on budget at an acceptable risk.

About you:

Key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Complete regular cost assurance exercises to ensure committed cost values and final invoiced values are in line with price lists/quotations obtained at tender stage
  • Work alongside the Projects team on in-life contractual issues and dispute resolution
  • Early Warning/Compensation Event identification and/or costing (Change Management) to protect and optimise time/cost/scope
  • Ensure monthly applications and/or invoices are raised and issued as per contractual dates
  • Provide extra resource to the Tendering team to prepare and analyse project costings for tenders, including materials, quantities, labour and time
  • Operate a feedback loop and lessons-learned to improve future contracts

Essential requirements to succeed in the role are:

  • Experience of engineering or civil works as a Quantity Surveyor
  • Experience in NEC 3 or NEC4 contract negotiation
  • Sound commercial acumen and ability to communicate effectively
  • GCSE grades A-C in English and Maths, plus relevant A-level or similar post-16 education

Welder Fabricators

Due to continued expansion ELIQUO HYDROK are currently seeking welder/fabricators

As an established provider of wastewater treatment technologies to the UK water industry, the successful candidates will work within the fabrication department, reporting to our Fabrication workshop manager

Your duties and responsibilities will vary but include:

  • Fabrication of medium to large products of up to 5 tonnes.
  • Bench work as and when required.

Essential requirements:

Experience with stainless steel MIG and TIG welding.

Ability to work unsupervised.

Ability to develop patterns.

Desirable:

  • Completed an apprenticeship is this trade.
  • Own Hand Tools.
  • MMA welding experience.
  • EN287 and ASME IX

Selected applicants will be required to attend an interview and carry out a supervised weld/task test.

Usual working hours are either 06.00 to 16.30 or 07.00 to 17.30 Monday to Thursday

Salary – Dependant on qualifications and experience.
